Beverly J. (Musolf) Bisek, 83, of Brainerd, passed away Monday, February 3, 2020 at Good Samaritan Society – Woodland. A Celebration of Life for Beverly will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 7, 2020 at Zion Lutheran Church in Brainerd. Family and friends are invited to gather Thursday evening from 4-7 p.m. at the Nelson – Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd and on Friday morning one hour prior to services at the church. Interment will take place at Baxter City Cemetery.
Beverly was born June 12, 1936 in Pequot Lakes, MN, the daughter of Alvin and Hazel (Erickson) Musolf. After graduating high school, Bev met the love of her life, David Bisek. The two were married on June 29, 1957. In addition to being an amazing homemaker and the best mom you could hope for, Bev was an artist. Beverly was a long-time Avon representative, she also belonged to Brainerd Art Club and painted windows at Zion Lutheran Church, area nursing homes, and Baxter Elementary School. She was proud to be an award winning fair participant.
Bev’s sparkling personality shone bright and her thoughtful nature touched your heart. She was loving, humorous, and a true people-person. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her children, Sherri (Garry) Schwartz, Mike (Diane) Bisek, Dan (Jody) Bisek, Jamie Bisek, and Joe (Leesha) Bisek; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; brother, Richard (Susan) Musolf; and many other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, David; son, Tom; and her parents.
Arrangements have been completed by Nelson-Doran Funeral Home, Brainerd.
